Outdoor lot / Booths OUT A and OUT B / April to Christmas Eve
Seasonal plants, produce, and arrangements at the Quakertown Farmers Market. The yard opens in April and closes after Christmas Eve.

April
Mulch and topsoil come off the first trucks while frost is still a possibility, and flats of annuals and early perennials follow close behind. The benches at OUT A fill in a weekend.
May through August
Hanging baskets go up on the rail and veggie plants move by the tray. Trees and shrubs stand in rows along the fence for planting weather. This is the lot at its greenest.
September through November
Hardy mums and pumpkins take over the tables. The same benches that held petunias in June hold porch decor by October.
Thanksgiving to December 24
Fresh cut Christmas trees and decorations carry the lot to the finish. The last tree sells by sundown on Christmas Eve, and then the yard goes quiet until April.

Custom flower arrangements are made up at the counter from what the season has on the bench. It is the part of the yard customers write about most: wedding parties in particular come back in reviews to name the arrangement work.
Arrangements are ordered by phone and picked up at the lot. Tell us the occasion and the colors; the season sets the rest.

Weisel founded the yard in 2008 and has kept it to the market's rhythm ever since: when the market trades, the lot trades.
Come through the outdoor rows and look for the booth signs. Everything green on the lot belongs to OUT A and OUT B.
