One hundred twenty booths and counting, each curated by a different local dealer. Every corner opens onto a different era.
Teak, walnut, and chrome. Lounge chairs, credenzas, and lighting from the atomic age, hunted down by dealers who know their makers.
The wunderkammer proper. Mounts, skulls, specimens under glass, and curios for collectors who like their decor a little uncanny.
Field gear, medals, insignia, and paper ephemera - preserved and presented with respect for the history each piece carries.
Sterling silver, estate pieces, and fine jewelry in lit cases - the small treasures that leave the castle in a coat pocket.
Racks of decades past, from Victorian mourning-dress energy to leather and lace, sized and hung by dealers who wear the eras they sell.
Records, glassware, advertising, tools, toys, and the gloriously uncategorizable. With 120+ booths, the map is never the same twice.
Most visits run two to three hours. There is no fixed route through the booths.
The building at 1030 N West End Blvd spent a former life as the Benetz Inn, a landmark whose turreted, castle-like silhouette made it impossible to miss from the highway. Today its halls hold booths instead of banquets - 120+ local vendors filling the old inn with a rotating hoard of the strange and the beautiful. The occupants changed. The castle remains.
No appointment needed and no admission fee. The doors are open every day of the week.
